Make Player IP Static

Make Player IP Static

Before You Start

You will need the following from your Network Admin or ISP: the IP address for the music player, Subnet Mask, and Gateway (network address). If you want to better understand DHCP vs. Static IP, Avast has a good article here.

Note: If you provide us your Static IP settings before we ship your system, we can configure this for you. Just submit a support ticket to tell us.

Use the Escape key or right mouse click to go back a step if needed.

Steps

1. On the startup screen, click the Gear icon for Settings.

2. Click Network & Internet.

3. Click IP Settings.

4. Click Static, then enter and save only the settings provided by your Network Admin. Note that you may need to use Tab and Enter on an external keyboard to navigate.
