Make Player IP Static


You will need IP info from your Network Admin or ISP.  IP address for the music player; Subnet Mask; and Gateway (network address).  If you want to understand DHCP and Static IP better, Avast has a good article here.

NOTE: If you tell us your Static IP settings before we ship your system, we can do this for you.  Just add a Support Ticket to tell us.



Use the escape key or right mouse click to go back a step if needed.

1. On the startup Screen - Click the Gear for "Settings" that looks like this one.




2. Click Network & Internet.




3. Click IP Settings.




4. Click Static and then enter and save only the settings provided by your Network Admin.  Note that you may need to use "Tab" and "Enter" on your external keyboard to navigate.
